Joseph James LeVesque Scholarship

This scholarship fund was named after the late distinguished EDU Effective Business School board member, lifelong optimist, great person, lecturer and education expert Dr. Joseph (Joe) LeVesque, who passed away after a short illness on Friday, January 28th, 2022.

Who does the scholarship apply to?

  • Students with minimum of a bachelor's degree, or high school diploma accompanied by 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Parents on maternity leave
  • Unemployed individuals
  • ANY Individuals experiencing an unstable financial situation.

How to apply?

1. Fill the form below

Include your contact information, photo, resume, link to your LinkedIn profile and a short motivation letter (maximum of 100 words), why we should choose you. The list of interested candidates will be later on shortlisted based on the requirements and quality of supported documents.

2. Shortlist

Once we receive all the applications, partners and the Board of Trustees will shortlist the applicants.

Wait for us to let you know whether you were selected by our committee - our sponsors, alumni, graduates.

3. If you are selected

Our colleagues will send you the payment instructions instructions and you will have 60 days to claim your scholarship and enroll in one of our programs

Once we receive your payment we will share your login information and welcome you on board!

Terms and conditions

of the Joseph James LeVesque Scholarship:

  • Each applicant can apply only ONCE.
  • Anyone from any country in the world over 21 years old is eligible to apply.
  • If a selected prospective student doesn’t claim their scholarship and fails to enroll within those 60 days, the funds will be transferred to the next scholarship period to be used by other applicants.
  • Scholarship can be claimed only before enrolling at EDU Effective.
  • Scholarship applicants must provide true and full information. If they fail to do so, the scholarship will be taken away from the applicant and given to another prospective student.
  • It’s mandatory that every student who is granted the scholarship informs EDU Effective about issues that might affect their studies in any way. To do so, send an email with an explanation of the issue to skillup@edueffective.online.
  • The short list will be compiled on the basis of the materials received and an individual assessment of each application as follows: The maximum number of points that an application can receive is 100 (maximum 80 points for the cover letter, maximum 20 points for the CV and LinkedIn profile if applicable).

How does it work?

  • EDU Effective collects donations from graduates and alumni, sponsorships and other contributions to a transparent account

  • Depending on the amount of collected funds, a minimum of 10 scholarships will be granted every year. The scholarship application release date will be announced on our website and social media.

  • Who can apply? Anyone, whose current financial situation doesn't allow them to pay for the studies, but has a strong motivation to work hard on their personal and professional development.

Milestones for offering the Scholarship

  • Our goal is to collect € 3475 to open scholarships for 5 students.
  • We are offering scholarships up to twice a year each time when the milestone of € 3475 is collected.
  • When we collect 100 % of the amount, we open scholarship registration form and select minimum of 5 students whose tuition will be 50% covered from Joe James LeVesque Scholarship Fund.
