Study model: The teaching takes place 100% online without any oral exams or commuting, deadlines, etc. You can study from a computer, tablet, or smartphone at any time, as we provide our students with maximum flexibility.
Access & emails: Once your application has been accepted, our study department will swiftly set up a student account and grant you access to the extensive video library. Our study materials are sourced from various high-quality platforms, providing you with the opportunity to engage with multiple sources throughout your learning journey. You'll be notified that your account is ready by receiving two emails. The first one is a welcoming email from us. It contains the link to our study system, your ID, and password to access your student account. The other email comes from the LinkedIn Learning Video Library. The LinkedIn Learning license needs to be activated prior to your study. You can simply do so by clicking on the link provided and sign in by using the ID mentioned in the welcoming email. You can also connect your personal LinkedIn Learning if you have one.
Program structure: Once you log into your student account, you will see a layout of your chosen specialization. Our effective courses consist of ten modules. Plus, we have an important last completion of your study program module, where you'll tackle the final test and craft your powerful action plan. And we also added module 12, our extra bonuses for you. Get more out of your study where you'll find even more surprises, such as free access to more than 6,000 e-books and audiobooks, 23,000 video courses, and much more.
Navigation: See those vibrant yellow buttons at the top of your screen? They hold the keys to your learning journey. To keep track of your progress, head to the courses in progress section on the left. It's your personal compass guiding you through the blocks that still await you. If you can't find a specific block, don't worry. Just click on this button, and it will reveal the missing piece. The completed courses button is your gateway to revisiting your finished blocks. Access them anytime you need a refresher or want to showcase your mastery to others. On top of that, our badges section adds an extra layer of fun and motivation to your learning journey. Click on it, and a small window will open, revealing the badges you've earned for various activities. They may not directly impact your study requirements, but they're a great way to measure progress and proudly display your achievements on our dynamic leaderboard. Want to see where you stand among your fellow learners? The leaderboard awaits. Access it by clicking on the certificates block or the smaller badge button next to your name in the upper section. It's a friendly competition that adds excitement to your studies.
Learner menu: In the upper right section labeled learner, right next to your name, you will discover a collection of useful links. Among these links, you can access the My Info section, which contains your personal information, such as your name, email, and more. The My Courses section allows you to view the courses you are currently enrolled in. Plus, if it is within your pricing plan, all the certificates you earn are in the My Certificates section. Moreover, to track your progress, you have two options. Either click on the My Progress button or the Progress button on the right side of the page. Here, you'll discover comprehensive information about your activity and get an overview of your progress. Additionally, you can access your completed tests, action plans located in the survey section, certificates, and more. Once you're finished reviewing your progress, you're welcome to click on the home button to navigate back to the main page.
Groups, branches, files, discussions, calendar: Back to the learner section. The sections labeled My Groups and My Branches acknowledge your status as a student in your chosen specialization. The My Files section proves to be quite handy as it serves as a repository for the study materials, such as e-books. To enhance your learning experience, the discussions button on the right provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with other students and inquire about the study material. It also opens doors to valuable connections worldwide. By clicking on the calendar button, you can explore upcoming webinars and other events, giving you a clear overview of potential activities you might participate in.
Welcome block: The Welcome block serves as a brief introduction to your study journey. Here, you'll find all the essential information to get started. It's crucial to thoroughly review all the content within this block as it contains vital information about the entire study. Within the Welcome block, you'll also find the initial action plan. This is where you'll have the opportunity to express your expectations for the course, your motivations, and other related aspects. The action plan is composed of open questions that will help and guide you to reflect your experience. The final section of the Welcome block is a bit more formal. Here, you'll need to upload various necessary documents. These documents are essential for verifying the information you provided during the application process. You can upload these documents within the first month of your study.
Document upload steps: Hi there. This is Sophie, your virtual study advisor. I am here to guide you through the document uploading process. To get started, sign into your student account and head to your Welcome block. Here, you'll find a list of documents waiting for your upload. Simply click on the document you're ready to share and choose the Upload a File option. Watch as an orange button pops up, showcasing all the file formats we accept.... click that button, pick the document residing in your device's memory, and hit upload. You can revisit the file you just uploaded by going home, back to the welcome block, and choosing the document you uploaded. Here, feel free to hit your answer button to reveal the uploaded document. Then proceed with completed, let's continue button, and repeat this user-friendly process for the remaining documents. Easy, right? Students who upload their high school diploma, and not university degree, are required to upload a CV with at least two years of work experience. If you are not required to upload your CV, feel free to leave us a text reply saying that you have uploaded a university degree. Voila! Once all the necessary documents grace your student account, go to the welcome block once more, and now, you'll see the parts of the block with your uploaded documents marked as completed. Some documents need to be reviewed by our study department. No worries, though. My colleagues will reach out if anything needs clarification.
Daily blocks (example 1/30): Now, let's explore block one slash thirty together. On top of the page, you'll find a concise introduction that will give you an idea of the topics covered during this block. Each 15-minute block is divided into three parts, the daily tip and micro-learning of the day, both mandatory, and the practical video tip of the day, which is recommended but optional, allowing you to expand your knowledge further. Additionally, there are optional e-books available if you wish to delve deeper into the subject. You'll find a new e-book tip for the following six blocks either in the content or you can download the e-book from the files section. It's crucial to gradually complete all the mentioned parts, so be sure to click on the complete and continue button, as mentioned earlier. In the prerequisites section, you can view the blocks you've already completed, which allows you to access this one. To ensure the effectiveness of the study, we recommend a maximum of three block study per day. For the same reason, we have set a four-hour gap between each two blocks. This means that after completing one block, the next one will automatically unlock and be uploaded to your system in four hours. This system gives you the flexibility to complete multiple blocks each day while maintaining the benefits of micro-learning and creating a habit of daily study.
Using LinkedIn Learning: Once you begin your block, you will be directed to a page with a link to a video library. Simultaneously, a timer for the video length will be set. Click on the orange button, and you will be taken to the LinkedIn Learning video platform. Here, you will find a learning path associated with the given block. Click on the start learning path and proceed with the first video. The LinkedIn Learning platform provides numerous valuable features to enhance your study experience and maximize its benefits. You have the flexibility to slow down the videos if necessary or, conversely, speed them up to suit your preference. Additionally, you can enable English subtitles or choose from auto-translated subtitles in various languages. The option of an English transcript is also available, allowing you to easily follow and track the information being presented. Moreover, you can even copy the text and utilize online translators for translation purposes. These tools offer great support in your learning journey. Once you finish your video, you will see the option to follow the learning path to its end. Then you'll be redirected back to our study system, where you can continue with the practical video tip of the day. Subsequently, you can access your e-book if you wish to dive deeper. The final component of the block is the congratulations block one slash thirty.
Assessments & action plans: Now that you are familiar with what the fulfillment of the blocks entails, let's explore the other requirements necessary for the successful completion of your study. During your studies, you'll have the opportunity to evaluate your knowledge through short, multiple-choice e-tests within each module. Before proceeding with any e-tests, it is necessary to take a photo to confirm that the person taking the e-test is the same person enrolled. At the end of the module, you will be required to take an e-test and achieve a minimum passing score of 80%, with the option to attempt revision up to three times. The same applies to the final e-test at the end of your study in the previously mentioned module 11. Additionally, you will develop a brief personal action plan. The action plan aims to clearly define how you intend to use the gained knowledge in your practice and offers you the opportunity to try out your knowledge in model situations. You will write short pieces of text directly into the student system. In addition to the final e-test in module 11, you will be required to develop a final action plan to evaluate your overall studies. Please note that as you write the action plan for yourself, it is not graded. However, it is checked by our study department as part of the prescribed requirements.
Mobile app: If you are interested, you can also use our Edu Effective app on your mobile device. It can be found and downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
